On The Death Of Richard West Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBCBCDECFCGC

In vain to me the smiling Mornings shineA
And reddening Ph bus lifts his golden fireB
The birds in vain their amorous descant joinC
Or cheerful fields resume their green attireB
These ears alas for other notes repineC
A different object do these eyes requireB
My lonely anguish melts no heart but mineC
And in my breast the imperfect joys expireD
Yet Morning smiles the busy race to cheerE
And new born pleasure brings to happier menC
The fields to all their wonted tribute bearF
To warm their little loves the birds complainC
I fruitless mourn to him that cannot hearG
And weep the more because I weep in vainC
