Sonnet. To Melancholy. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEGHH

To thy unhappy courts a lonely guestA
I come corroding Melancholy whereB
Sequester'd from the world this woe worn breastA
May yet indulge a solitary tearB
For what should cheer the wretch's struggling heartC
What lead him thro' misfortunes gloomy shadesD
When retrospection wings her keenest dartC
And hope's dim land in misery's ocean fadesD
Adieu for ever visionary joysE
Delusive shadows of a short liv'd hourF
The rod of woe invincible destroysE
The light the fairy fabric of your pow'rG
How short of bliss the sublunary reignH
How long the clouded days of misery and painH
