Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDF GHGH

Oh never will I leave my loveA
My captive soul would sigh to strayB
Tho' seraph songs its truth to proveC
Call it from earth to heaven to awayB
-
For heaven has deign'd on earth to sendD
As rich a gift as it can giveE
Alas that mortal bliss must endD
For mortal man must cease to liveF
-
Yet transient would my sorrows beG
Should Delia first her breath resignH
Sweet Maid my soul would follow theeG
For never can it part from thineH
