The Unfading Beauty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDD ECECFF

He that loves a rosy cheekA
Or a coral lip admiresB
Or from star like eyes doth seekA
Fuel to maintain his firesC
As old Time makes these decayD
So his flames must waste awayD
-
But a smooth and steadfast mindE
Gentle thoughts and calm desiresC
Hearts with equal love combinedE
Kindle never dying firesC
Where these are not I despiseF
Lovely cheeks or lips or eyesF
