Boldness In Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDD EFEFGGHH

Mark how the bashful morn in vainA
Courts the amorous marigoldB
With sighing blasts and weeping rainA
Yet she refuses to unfoldB
But when the planet of the dayC
Approacheth with his powerful rayC
The she spreads then she receivesD
His warmer beams into her virgin leavesD
-
So shalt thou thrive in love fond boyE
If thy tears and sighs discoverF
Thy grief thou never shalt enjoyE
The just reward of a bold loverF
But when with moving accents thouG
Shalt constant faith and service vowG
Thy Celia shall receive those charmsH
With open ears and with unfolded armsH
