Like Crusoe, Walking By The Lonely Strand Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCCDEFF

Like Crusoe walking by the lonely strandA
And seeing a human footprint on the sandA
Have I this day been startled finding hereB
Set in brown mould and delicately clearC
Spring's footprint the first crocus of the yearC
O sweet invasion Farewell solitudeD
Soon shall wild creatures of the field and woodE
Flock from all sides with much ado and stirF
And make of me most willing prisonerF
