Hesperides Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCBBBBDEBBFFGGHH

If thy soul Herrick dwelt with meA
This is what my songs would beA
Hints of our sea breezes blentB
With odors from the OrientB
Indian vessels deep with spiceC
Star showers from the Norland iceC
Wine red jewels that seem to holdB
Fire but only burn with coldB
Antique goblets strangely wroughtB
Filled with the wine of happy thoughtB
Bridal measure vain regretsD
Laburnum buds and violetsE
Hopeful as the break of dayB
Clear as crystal new as MayB
Musical as brooks that runF
O'er yellow shallows in the sunF
Soft as the satin fringe that shadesG
The eyelids of thy Devon maidsG
Brief as thy lyrics Herrick areH
And polished as the bosom of a starH
