Destiny Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAA BB CC DD

Three roses wan as moonlight and weighed downA
Each with its loveliness as with a crownA
Drooped in a florist's window in a townA
-
The first a lover bought It lay at restB
Like flower on flower that night on Beauty's breastB
-
The second rose as virginal and fairC
Shrunk in the tangles of a harlot's hairC
-
The third a widow with new grief made wildD
Shut in the icy palm of her dead childD
