| From out the dripping ivy leaves | D |
| Antiquely carven gray and high | E |
| A dormer facing westward looks | F |
| Upon the village like an eye | E |
| And now it glimmers in the sun | G |
| A globe of gold a disk a speck | H |
| And in the belfry sits a dove | I |
| With purple ripples on her neck | H |
