Act V Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDEFGHIIJKLMNOPQ

MIDNIGHTA
-
First two white arms that held him very closeB
And ever closer as he drew him backC
Reluctantly the loose gold colored hairD
A thousand delicate fibers reaching outE
Still to detain him then some twenty stepsF
Of iron staircse winding round and downG
And ending in a narrow gallery hungH
With Gobelin tapestries AndromedaI
Rescued by Perseus and the sleek DianaI
With her nymphs bathing at the farther endJ
A door that gave upon a starlit groveK
Of citron and clipt palm trees then a pathL
As bleached as moonlight with the shadow of leavesM
Stamped black upon it next a vine clad lengthN
Of solid masonry and last of allO
A Gothic archway packed with night and thenP
A sudden gleaming dagger through his heartQ
