| Naught in dismay naught in despair | G |
| Just the dear hope trust and eclair affair | G |

| Its course uncertain and unpredictable | J |
| brought growth and crucified many a feat | I |

| Through curtains veils were we disclosed | K |
| To ourselves of past humble morrow | L |
| Memories we created quite a few | M |
| Imprinted on thine my soul evermore | N |
| Through patience and faith but nay regretful sorrow | L |

| Tarry we cannot nay should be bound | O |
| Of empty promises far off desires | P |
| But I must confess a truth too harsh | Q |
| Fairy tales be false as be pain bereft love | R |
