Now What My Image Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCD EFG HHA IJKLMJNOO

I struggle to be a nice girl the worst choice of my lifeA
Man I am not good with all this lifeA
Working like a fool join the 'army of the great for my moneyB
God I just had to make it harder for myselfC
Here I am again complainingD
-
Hard to appreciate everything I haveE
Easy ways are always leading one to hardF
Times of imprisonmentG
-
Now what my image happened with this soul of mineH
And what my image happens with this shell of mineH
Caring not caring training for that better lifeA
-
Down the streets people still walk and live and talkI
And crave for their moreJ
Up in the bed on their chairs and those groundsK
They have chosenL
Chosen each soulM
Careful to not upset too much your own saviourJ
People still liveN
A pleasant touch of ignorance bliss for my impotence to kill them allO
And sentence them to heaven once and for allO

Theodora Oniceanu

Poet's note: An introspective, self-battering, self-analytical poem, if I may say, expressing the state of mind of a young soul trying to blend and cope with society's quests.
