I wish you could tell me
What’s happening the other side?
I wish you could see the pain
That locks me into isolation
I wish I could feel your winter
Woven hands once more.
In a summer night,
The sunflower plays its role
To illuminate my darkness.
The cathedral clock ticks
And gongs but my heart
Is still empty.
I wish I could play with you
Just one time,
Hold you once and kiss you
Twice and die within you thrice and
Merry you for the decades to come.
Built my self a Chinese wall
Am scared to love again.
Scared to give my heart
To a stranger.
Scared to love that one
Terrified to give my heart to
Another woman.
Be the moonlight in my darkness,
Planted flowers to stare at until
I reunite with you
My youthful love,
My adoration
And my peace
I Wish
