I always wanted someone to go shopping with
Get Mani-Pedis
Talk about boys
A built-in best friend, that was exactly what I was looking for
The moment I set foot on Earth
Always seen girls and their mom
With a great bond
Always wondered why that can't be me and my mom
Instead, I got lies and was mistreated
Nothing was ever good enough.
Always overlooked
Never was a good time, can't even remember one of those
Like the last time she said love-you/">I love you
And really meant it
Hugged me and said she was proud
Something I would definitely remember, but sadly, I don't
Guess I wasn't meant to have a built-in best friend
Instead, a mommy who tells lies, and it's quick to leave and say bye-bye
