Patience Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAA ACDE FGHI JDKL MNOI PQILC RSTUG

A golden name led the wayA
Off a vicious trackB
And I squinted at a sparkling rayA
On a hillock ten miles awayA
-
I witnessed my slip yesterdayA
But I must not fail to riseC
When I fallD
For nothing last forever I guessE
-
Vistiges hope negated grave flinchF
On my path facing the hillG
And over perilous smearH
I hopped repeatedlyI
-
Feet firmed on kerb in short distanceJ
The bright peak didn't callD
But my penchant for the glowingK
Gravitated my feet furtherL
-
At the root the peak looks near nowM
And its welcoming smile I loveN
But how deep to rely on the verdantO
Perhaps Hiding ravines under its beautyI
-
If I may be fair to myselfP
I would be still and listen perhapsQ
Hear the ravines growling menacinglyI
And I will stop dithering for anotherL
fall may not permit a second riseC
-
I must wait for the ebb tideR
To expose the loathing bane at the footS
And at the limpid flow through the steepT
I shall be lifted to shine with the diamondU
On the hillG
