Off a vicious track | B |
And I squinted at a sparkling ray | A |
On a hillock ten miles away | A |

I witnessed my slip yesterday | A |
But I must not fail to rise | C |
When I fall | D |
For nothing last forever I guess | E |
- | |
Vistiges hope negated grave flinch | F |
On my path facing the hill | G |
And over perilous smear | H |
I hopped repeatedly | I |
- | |
Feet firmed on kerb in short distance | J |
The bright peak didn't call | D |
But my penchant for the glowing | K |
Gravitated my feet further | L |
- | |
At the root the peak looks near now | M |
And its welcoming smile I love | N |
But how deep to rely on the verdant | O |
Perhaps Hiding ravines under its beauty | I |

If I may be fair to myself | P |
I would be still and listen perhaps | Q |
Hear the ravines growling menacingly | I |
And I will stop dithering for another | L |

- | |
I must wait for the ebb tide | R |
To expose the loathing bane at the foot | S |
And at the limpid flow through the steep | T |
I shall be lifted to shine with the diamond | U |
On the hill | G |
