You can not say,
And you dare not say:
'Nigeria is not a better place
For you and I to stay.'
But that is a bigger lie
A bigger lie for people
Who don't want to die,
Die or fall like a rotten apple.
That is a bigger bitter truth,
But still partly untruth.
We get beautiful climes
Producing fruitful fruits and food lifetimes
What a beautiful clime, full of resources!
Just like heaven on earth to stay.
So you can not say, and you dare not say:
'Nigeria is not a better place to stay.'
Hold it right there!
What about bloody blood loss?
Cause by bloody herdsmen with impunity,
Many men displaced by same bloody herdsmen.
What about the fear of saying the truth
Because of terrorists in higher offices?
Bad governance, I'm sick,
And tired of seeing wrong things going right.
There is hardship here and there,
The fuel prices are higher than ever before,
Yet we still queue up for hours without buying.
Where are our leaders now?
That's a painful truth
A painful truth which we can't deny
No doubt your blood is hot
That we get terrible leaders!
But that alone,
Your vote this 2023,
If you are not dead for speaking the truth
Will surely mend our broken country.
