The Livid Lightnings Flashed In The Clouds Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGHIJKL

The livid lightnings flashed in the cloudsA
The leaden thunders crashedB
A worshipper raised his armC
Hearken Hearken The voice of GodD
-
Not so said a manE
The voice of God whispers in the heartF
So softlyG
That the soul pausesH
Making no noiseI
And strives for these melodiesJ
Distant sighing like faintest breathK
And all the being is still to hearL
