God lay dead in heavenA
Angels sang the hymn of the endB
Purple winds went moaningC
Their wings drip drippingC
With bloodD
That fell upon the earthE
It groaning thingC
Turned black and sankF
Then from the far cavernsG
Of dead sinsH
Came monsters livid with desireI
They foughtJ
Wrangled over the worldK
A morselL
But of all sadness this was sadM
A woman's arms tried to shieldN
The head of a sleeping manO
From the jaws of the final beastP
