God Fashioned The Ship Of The World Carefully Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDAEFAGHIJKLMF

God fashioned the ship of the world carefullyA
With the infinite skill of an All MasterB
Made He the hull and the sailsC
Held He the rudderB
Ready for adjustmentD
Erect stood He scanning His work proudlyA
Then at fateful time a wrong calledE
And God turned heedingF
Lo the ship at this opportunity slipped slylyA
Making cunning noiseless travel down the waysG
So that forever rudderless it went upon the seasH
Going ridiculous voyagesI
Making quaint progressJ
Turning as with serious purposeK
Before stupid windsL
And there were many in the skyM
Who laughed at this thingF
