Somewhere at some timeA
They committed themselves to meB
And so I wasC
Small but I WASC
Tiny in shapeD
Lusting to liveE
I hung in my pulsing caveF
Soon they knew of meB
My mother my fatherG
I had no say in my beingH
I lived on trustI
And loveJ
Tho' I couldn't thinkK
Each part of me was sayingH
A silent 'Wait for meB
I will bring you love 'L
I was takenM
Blind naked defenselessN
By the hand of oneM
Whose good nameO
Was graven on a brass plateP
in Wimpole StreetQ
and dropped on the sterile floorR
of a foot operated plastic wasteS
bucketT
There was no Queens CounselU
To take my briefV
The cot I might have warmedW
Stood in Harrod's shop windowX
When my passing was toldY
My father smiledZ
No grief filled my empty spaceA2
My death was celebratedB2
With tickets to see Danny la RueC2
Who was pretending to be a womanM
Like my mother wasC
