Maveric ProwlesA
Had Rumbling BowlesA
That thundered in the nightB
It shook the bedrooms all aroundC
And gave the folks a frightB
The doctor calledD
He was appalledD
When through his stethoscopeE
He heard the sound of a baying houndC
And the acrid smell of smokeF
Was there a cureG
'The higher the fewer'G
The learned doctor saidH
Then turned poor Maveric inside outI
And stood him on his headH
'Just as I thoughJ
You've been and caughtK
An Asiatic fluL
You musn't go near dogs I fearG
Unless they come near you 'M
Poor Maveric criedN
He went cross eyedN
His legs went green and blueL
The doctor hit him with a clubO
And charged him one and twoL
And so my friendP
This is the endP
A warning to the fewL
Stay clear of doctors to the endP
Or they'll get rid of youL
