Phyllis Is My Only Joy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDDE FGFGHHDDE

Phyllis is my only joyA
Faithless as the winds or seasB
Sometimes coming sometimes coyA
Yet she never fails to pleaseB
If with a frownC
I am cast downC
Phyllis smilingD
And beguilingD
Makes me happier than beforeE
-
Though alas too late I findF
Nothing can her fancy fixG
Yet the moment she is kindF
I forgive her all her tricksG
Which though I seeH
I can't get freeH
She deceivingD
I believingD
What need lovers wish for moreE
