Twilight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHICJKLMNOPQKR STUTJTTTVWTXT

By W ll m C wp rA
'Tis evening See with its resorting throngB
Rude Carfax teems and waistcoats visitedC
With too familiar elbow swell the curseD
Vortiginous The boating man returnsE
His rawness growing with experienceF
Strange union and directs the optic glassG
Not unresponsive to Jemima's charmsH
Who wheels obdurate in his mimic chaiseI
Perambulant the child The gouty citC
Asthmatical with elevated caneJ
Pursues the unregarding tram as oneK
Who having heard a hurdy gurdy girdsL
His loins and hunts the hurdy gurdy manM
Blaspheming Now the clangorous bell proclaimsN
The Times or Chronicle and Rauca screamsO
The latest horrid murder in the earP
Of nervous dons expectant of the urnQ
And mild domestic muffinK
To the ParksR
Drags the slow Ladies' School consuming timeS
In passing given points Here glow the lampsT
And tea spoons clatter to the cosy humU
Of scientific circles Here resoundsT
The football field with its discordant trainJ
The crowd that cheers but not discriminatesT
As ever into touch the ball returnsT
And shrieks the whistle while the game proceedsT
With fine irregularity well worthV
The paltry shillingW
Draw the curtains closeT
While I resume the night cap dear to allX
Familiar with my illustrated worksT
