I'm losing my gripB
I'm losing my linesC
Perhaps I should rest my pen and go on a tripB
Perhaps I should let this poem be a signD
To me it's already dawnE
Let poetry be and rest on my lawnE

These days are toughF
And time becomes slowG
My points are roughF
And they said I should whisper them lowG
Perhaps I should close the doorH
And go back to scrubbing the floorH

I'm losing my healthI
I'm losing myselfA
These verses are out of wealthI
Maybe I should go back to the shelfA
If so I could find a pieceJ
If so I could find peaceJ
