When I-m Among A Blaze Of Lights Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAB CDCDEFEF

When I m among a blaze of lightsA
With tawdry music and cigarsB
And women dawdling through delightsA
And officers in cocktail barsB
Sometimes I think of garden nightsA
And elm trees nodding at the starsB
-
I dream of a small firelit roomC
With yellow candles burning straightD
And glowing pictures in the gloomC
And kindly books that hold me lateD
Of things like these I choose to thinkE
When I can never be aloneF
Then someone says Another drinkE
And turns my living heart to stoneF
