Thrushes Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCCCD

Tossed on the glittering air they soar and skimA
Whose voices make the emptiness of lightB
A windy palace Quavering from the brimA
Of dawn and bold with song at edge of nightB
They clutch their leafy pinnacles and singC
Scornful of man and from his toils aloofD
Whose heart's a haunted woodland whisperingC
Whose thoughts return on tempest baffled wingC
Who hears the cry of God in everythingC
And storms the gate of nothingness for proofD
