Sick Leave Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCDCDEDFD

When I'm asleep dreaming and lulled and warmA
They come the homeless ones the noiseless deadB
While the dim charging breakers of the stormA
Bellow and drone and rumble overheadB
Out of the gloom they gather about my bedB
They whisper to my heart their thoughts are mineC
Why are you here with all your watches endedD
From Ypres to Frise we sought you in the LineC
In bitter safety I awake unfriendedD
And while the dawn begins with slashing rainE
I think of the Battalion in the mudD
When are you going out to them againF
Are they not still your brothers through our bloodD
