Noah Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABB CDDEFF GHH

When old Noah stared across the floodsA
Sky and water melted into oneB
Looking glass of shifting tides and sunB
-
Mountain tops were few the ship was foulC
All the morn old Noah marvelled greatlyD
At this weltering world that shone so statelyD
Drowning deep the rivers and the plainsE
Through the stillness came a rippling breezeF
Noah sighed remembering the green treesF
-
Clear along the morning stooped a birdG
Lit beside him with a blossomed sprigH
Earth was saved and Noah danced a jigH
