Fancy Dress Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABABBCCDDEE

Some Brave awake in you to nightA
Knocked at your heart an eagle's flightA
Stirred in the feather on your headB
Your wide set Indian eyes alightA
Above high cheek bones smeared with redB
Unveiled cragg'd centuries and ledB
You the snared wraith of bygone thingsC
Wild ancestries of trackless KingsC
Out of the past So men have feltD
Strange anger move them as they kneltD
Praying to gods serenely starredE
In heavens where tomahawks are barredE
