Companions Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA BB CC DD

Leave not your bough my slender song bird sweetA
But pipe me now your roundelay completeA
-
Come gentle breeze and tarrying on your wayB
Whisper my trees what you have seen to dayB
-
Stand golden cloud until my song be doneC
For he's too proud before the face of the sunC
-
So one did sing and the other breathed a storyD
Then both took wing and the sun stepped forth in gloryD
