Butterflies Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC EFFE

Frail Travellers deftly flickering over the flowersA
O living flowers against the heedless blueB
Of summer days what sends them dancing throughB
This fiery blossom'd revel of the hoursA
-
Theirs are the musing silences betweenC
The enraptured crying of shrill birds that makeD
Heaven in the wood while summer dawns awakeD
And theirs the faintest winds that hush the greenC
-
And they are as my soul that wings its wayE
Out of the starlit dimness into mornF
And they are as my tremulous being bornF
To know but this the phantom glare of dayE
