At Daybreak Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDBD EFEGFG

I listen for him through the rainA
And in the dusk of starless hoursB
I know that he will come againC
Loth was he ever to forsake meD
He comes with glimmering of flowersB
And stir of music to awake meD
-
Spirit of purity he standsE
As once he lived in charm and graceF
I may not hold him with my handsE
Nor bid him stay to heal my sorrowG
Only his fair unshadowed faceF
Abides with me until to morrowG
