A Poplar And The Moon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCBCDDDD

There stood a Poplar tall and straightA
The fair round Moon uprisen lateA
Made the long shadow on the grassB
A ghostly bridge 'twixt heaven and meC
But May with slumbrous nights must passB
And blustering winds will strip the treeC
And I've no magic to expressD
The moment of that lovelinessD
So from these words you'll never guessD
The stars and lilies I could seeD
