Special Pleading Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBA CCDDC AAE A AAFFA GGHHG FFIIF J

Time hurry my Love to meA
Haste haste Lov'st not good companyA
Here's but a heart break sandy wasteB
'Twixt Now and Then Why killing hasteB
Were best dear Time for thee for theeA
-
Oh would that I might divineC
Thy name beyond the zodiac signC
Wherefrom our times to come descendD
He called thee 'Sometime' Change it friendD
'Now time' sounds so much more fineC
-
Sweet Sometime fly fast to meA
Poor Now time sits in the Lonesome treeA
And broods as gray as any doveE
And calls 'When wilt thou come O Love '-
And pleads across the waste to theeA
-
Good Moment that giv'st him meA
Wast ever in love Maybe maybeA
Thou'lt be this heavenly velvet timeF
When Day and Night as rhyme and rhymeF
Set lip to lip dusk modestlyA
-
Or haply some noon afarG
O life's top bud mixt rose and starG
How ever can thine utmost sweetH
Be star consummate rose completeH
Till thy rich reds full opened areG
-
Well be it dusk time or noon timeF
I ask but one small boon TimeF
Come thou in night come thou in dayI
I care not I care not have thine own wayI
But only but only come soon TimeF
