My Alma Mater Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEFGHIJKLMLNONJ

I came to the garden of EdenA
You gave a welcome smileB
Taught me to be a maidenA
And Nurture with no guileB
Give and take was the firstC
And to be not a foeD
But to give equal respectE
For you reap what you sowF
I was a blooming budG
You made spread fragranceH
I was a tiny seedI
You made a tree embraceJ
As I hear the bell that nodK
So my soul ache of partL
Do I know no other modeM
Soothen my breaking heartL
I come to thee my Alma materN
With a heart that sing your praiseO
So I leave for the betterN
Leaving a smile to traceJ
