| Tugging at my weaves as salty tears escaped my eyes | D |

| LOVE must be a mysterious thing | F |
| 'Cos even after lying to me I still adore you | G |
| I still yearn for your voice your awkward smile | H |
| your scent and everything you | G |

| YOU sent me letters of what happened in your past | I |
| Of why you thought deceit was the safest path | J |
| You wrote you still loved me asked if I would have you back | K |
| I can see you've been working on being a better man | L |
