| But in pity we live in shanty premises | B |

| But In truth | D |
| Alas He was a brute | E |

| Four years are in our past | F |
| And now the die is cast | F |
| Who will bell the cat | G |
| And take away his hat | G |

| I hear that he is sick | H |
| But sadly time refuses to tick | H |
| Our agony is rife | I |
| You could even cut it with a knife | I |

| Of what value is the rule of law | J |
| Where there is no law | J |
| Or equity | K |
| Where there is no equality | K |

| Of what value is unity | K |
| Where there is no security | K |
| Or endless enactments | L |
| Where there are no true judgments | L |

| Of what value is Nigeria | M |
| When we live in phobia | M |
| This is no hate speech | N |
| A lesson I mean to teach | N |

| Beware For when they talk about justice | O |
| All they want is the office | O |
| When they talk about employment | P |
| All they care about is impoverishment | P |

| I am not afraid | Q |
| My thoughts I have laid | Q |
| They can send the military | K |
| I refuse to cower and be jittery | K |
