| With a long hair under his chin | A |
| He travels ringing his bell | B |
| And shouting Balloons I sell | B |

| And when it is a sunny day | C |
| We can see balloons from far away | C |
| They are gold green blue and red | D |
| Glimmering high over everyone's head | D |

| Children round him with such a noise | E |
| As they buy the balloons of their choice | F |
| Again he shouts Balloons I sell | B |
| Likewise he walks miles ringing his bell | B |

| And we can see the balloons railing high | G |
| They look pretty up in the sky | G |
| Longing to rise up the air | H |
| Leaving behind everyone to stare | H |
