To seize the day with all my might and make some progressions | A |
But soon I find myself lost in distractions | A |
My mind wanders and my focus turns to abstractions | A |

Out of nowhere I lose hope and distractions ensue | A |
I find solace in everything but what I need to do | A |
My phone and social media take center stage | B |
While my goals and dreams become a distant image | C |

I know it won't be easy but I'll persist | D |
And overcome my addiction to procrastinate on my to do list | D |
I'll take charge of my life and make things happen | E |
And enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done without any action slacken | E |

I'll learn to prioritize and focus on what's key | F |
To keep my goals in sight and my distractions free | F |
I'll break my work into manageable chunks | A |
And tackle them one by one with little bumps | A |

For the reward of achievement is truly sublime | G |
And the cost of procrastination is just a waste of time | G |
So let me rise above this dreaded foe | H |
And let my actions speak louder than my woes | A |
