Ghazal 12 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAABACADAEAFA GAHAIAGAJAAA J

The bright moon reflects your radiant faceA
Your snowcapped cheekbones supply water of graceA
My heavy heart desires an audience with your faceA
Come forward or must return your command I will embraceA
Nobody for good measures girded your fieldsB
Such trades no one in their right mind would chaseA
Our dormant fate will never awake unlessC
You wash its face and shout brace braceA
Send a bouquet of your face with morning breezeD
Perhaps inhaling your scent your fields we envision traceA
May you live fulfilled and long O wine bearer of this feastE
Though our cup was never filled from your jug or your vaseA
My heart is reckless please let Beloved knowF
Beware my friend my soul your soul replaceA
-
O God when will my fate and desires hand in handG
Bring me to my Beloved hair in one placeA
Step above the ground when you decide to pass us byH
On this path lie bloody the martyrs of human raceA
Hafiz says a prayer listen and say amenI
May your sweet wine daily pour upon my lips and my faceA
O breeze tell us about the inhabitants of city of YazdG
May the heads of unworthy roll as a ball in your polo raceA
Though we are far from friends kinship is nearJ
We praise your goodness and majestic maceA
O Majesty may we be touched by your graceA
I kiss and touch the ground that is your baseA
