In an instant he checks his clockA
wondered whether they will come in timeB
its not the first time he has done itC

'life is an extraordinary cycleD
you just never know whether it will be today or tomorrow'E
he rehearses but he still wonders how he will put itC
-
But he has to prayE
the boy died young killed in cold bloodF
as he fought for what he called his rightsG
-
no other priest had the bravery to send the young manH
to the after life the there he was The irish PriestI
But as i look at him i wonderE
-
can he do itC
or its too unfair to stand it hurtsJ
not for me but for himK

Poet's note: As i looked and thought of all the terrible things that I i had seen, i thought of the irish priest. A man who has to be question to one that reads this poem asking why?
