Turned In To Water And Fled Away-18 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CDE FGH IEJE KLE MENO

The voice which my throat hurled I don t know what happened to itA
Whether the sky swallowed it or it changed into a bird and flew awayB
-
But my fancy keeps floating like a boat around the islands of flowersC
The azure continents of the skies and the archipelagos of stars in searchD
Of it To me that search is enoughE
-
The sky is not an arid desert of vacuum it is the nest of the wingedF
Singers called birds It is the hypnotic city where the wind constantly works onG
The architecture of cloudsH
-
For this prisoner of pitiless life that little rag of skyI
Fluttering beyond the iron bars is enoughE
That fistful of evening which stares at me from beyondJ
Those clusters of trees is enoughE
-
That little slice of Blue Ocean whose eyes keep looking at meK
Standing on tiptoe from behind the pearly sand dunesL
beyond the cashew nut gardens is enoughE
-
That particle of desire which keeps whisperingM
in some remote corner of the heart is enoughE
