Mid Summer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADEFGHIJKLMNOPQJR STUVW

A tree raised he voice and called meA
Spread her cool shadeB
Like a mat of flowersC
And welcomed meA
A bird in the blueD
Changed into a dotE
In the hut of an oppressed manF
Rolled a drop of tearG
Sweat raised its handsH
And prayed to the summerI
Wished that sky should becomeJ
Pregnant with a rainbowK
Drinking sun in the gardenL
Grapes grow robustM
At the touch of the teethN
Juice bursts forthO
Love bought woundsP
Paid with the coin of heartQ
In the end to becomeJ
A solitary wayfarer in the fair of lifeR

In the storms of starsT
That blow in the nightsU
Dreams jump and dance like boys and girlsV
Boats sail in the streams of mid summer darknessW
