Flies Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMLNOPQRS TUVWAXYBZ A2

Do not alight on my heart like fliesA
From the rubbishB
Does not bite as rats bite breadC
Rise like swordsD
From flames of sufferingsE
Write on the walls of the universal spaceF
The date when the flies chased away the falconsG
Harken to the burning wordsH
In the hearts of the grainI
Lying in fields that call youJ
He who bears the ploughK
on his shoulders and earns his hungerL
also earns the rightM
to appease his hungerL
if the sorrow of the cropsN
that rose this year is not appeasedO
in the coming yearP
only fists bearing sicklesQ
will grow in the fieldsR
I have become your roadS
Which dreams for your marching footstepsT
All of us must walk through the stormU
A small star cannot make a dayV
We want a burning sunW
I shall become your flag and fly in the skiesA
Come let s goX
But do not alight on my heartY
Like flies from the rubbishB
