Tanks of water are red wounds | B |
Rivers are flowing blood | C |
Yielding to the voices of the flesh | D |
Here the sky sold away its sun for a fistful of stars | E |
Paper promises have piled up into Himalayan hills | F |
The wasted ink makes a sea | A |
And dreams of the nation | G |
Are going into caves of paper to renounce the world | H |
Some have jumped into the ink and relinquished life | I |
Now the iron in the country goes to make prison bars | E |
Leaving none to make railways | J |
Farmer bears the plough | K |
Like Jesus bore the cross | L |
In the temple of this nation | G |
The deity has been digested | M |
Now hungry for another god | N |
