Another God Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFAGHIEJKLGMN

On the body of my countryA
Tanks of water are red woundsB
Rivers are flowing bloodC
Yielding to the voices of the fleshD
Here the sky sold away its sun for a fistful of starsE
Paper promises have piled up into Himalayan hillsF
The wasted ink makes a seaA
And dreams of the nationG
Are going into caves of paper to renounce the worldH
Some have jumped into the ink and relinquished lifeI
Now the iron in the country goes to make prison barsE
Leaving none to make railwaysJ
Farmer bears the ploughK
Like Jesus bore the crossL
In the temple of this nationG
The deity has been digestedM
Now hungry for another godN
