Manoeuvring lately just to set a deep gaze
At my scented flower
To fix one eye only on you would drift focus
Unless the two eyes are directed to you
There it shall stand firmly to behold your beauty
Your skin tone, talk of nothing but melanin in the classof the supernatural
The space- in- between, hinders the chance to set eyes on you
The space- in- between, brings falling apart
thoughts leading to doubts
Doubts my love, doubts...... isn't that scary??
To be in a state of utmost confusion
The mind, playing games with the poor soul
within
Doubts again, orchestrated by hear- say
What an unbearable circumstance!!
The space- in-between, causing commotion
and tearing down the stronghold of love
So fierce a force depriving my access to
See my sweet scented sunflower
No, no, nooooooooo get out of my way
For my sunflower needs my air, the good
water I possess, the nourishing soil beneath
My loving heart and the shining sun displayed
Through my smile
My sunflower needs it, yes she does
Time is due, I can't abuse it by wasting it all
The time is indeed due, my one and only
Here I come to your humble abode
Doubt captured your loved one
But conquest was his confidence and shield
His fierce heart never gave up
Just to see my sweet sunflower again
The space- in-between was shuttered at last.
Space-in-between
