A Love Song From The North Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCBCCDAAEAABFBGGHA AH

Tell me no more of thy love papeehaA
Wouldst thou recall to my heart papeehaA
Dreams of delight that are goneB
When swift to my side came the feet of my loverC
With stars of the dusk and the dawnB
I see the soft wings of the clouds on the riverC
And jewelled with raindrops the mango leaves quiverC
And tender boughs flower on the plainD
But what is their beauty to me papeehaA
Beauty of blossom and shower papeehaA
That brings not my lover againE
Tell me no more of thy love papeehaA
Wouldst thou revive in my heart papeehaA
Grief for the joy that is goneB
I hear the bright peacock in glimmering woodlandsF
Cry to its mate in the dawnB
I hear the black koel's slow tremulous wooingG
And sweet in the gardens the calling and cooingG
Of passionate bulbul and doveH
But what is their music to me papeehaA
Songs of their laughter and love papeehaA
To me forsaken of loveH
