Wishes Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGEEEHIJIKLML NOPONEQE

I wish for such a lot of thingsA
That never will come trueB
And yet I want them all so muchC
I think they might don't youB
I want a little kitty catD
That's soft and tame and sweetE
And every day I watch and hopeF
I'll find one in the streetE
But nursie says 'Come walk alongG
'Don't stand and stare like that'E
I'm only looking hard and hardE
To try to find my catE
And then I want a blue balloonH
That tries to fly awayI
I thought if I wished hard enoughJ
That it would come some dayI
One time when I was in the parkK
I knew that it would beL
Beside the big old clock at homeM
A waiting there for meL
And soon as we got home againN
I hurried thro' the hallO
And looked beside the big old clockP
It wasn't there at allO
I think I'll never wish againN
But then what shall I doE
The wishes are a lot of funQ
Altho' they don't come trueE
