Winter Stars Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JKFL

I went out at night aloneA
The young blood flowing beyond the seaB
Seemed to have drenched my spirit's wingsC
I bore my sorrow heavilyB
-
But when I lifted up my headD
From shadows shaken on the snowE
I saw Orion in the eastF
Burn steadily as long agoE
-
From windows in my father's houseG
Dreaming my dreams on winter nightsH
I watched Orion as a girlI
Above another city's lightsH
-
Years go dreams go and youth goes tooJ
The world's heart breaks beneath its warsK
All things are changed save in the eastF
The faithful beauty of the starsL
