To Joy Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACBBADEEDFG

Lo I am happy for my eyes have seenA
Joy glowing here before me face to faceB
His wings were arched above me for a spaceB
I kissed his lips no bitter came betweenA
The air is vibrant where his feet have beenC
And full of song and color is his placeB
His wondrous presence sheds about a graceB
That lifts and hallows all that once was meanA
I may not sorrow for I saw the lightD
Tho' I shall walk in valley ways for longE
I still shall hear the echo of the songE
My life is measured by its one great heightD
Joy holds more grace than pain can ever giveF
And by my glimpse of joy my soul shall liveG
